20 October 2025 – The European project REEPLAI recently took part in the FÓLIO Festival in Óbidos, marking the official conclusion of its journey in promoting reading, learning, and cultural exchange across Europe.
The closing forum brought together project partners, providing a space to celebrate achievements, reflect on milestones, and explore opportunities for future collaboration.
Participants highlighted the innovative ways REEPLAI has created new spaces for dialogue, cooperation, and creativity throughout the continent.
A highlight of the day was the inauguration of the Óbidos Reading Park, a permanent symbol of the project’s commitment to fostering reading and engaging local communities. The park stands as a lasting testament to the power of international partnerships in connecting people and inspiring readers of all ages.
While REEPLAI has officially wrapped up, the work continues. The project team remains committed to promoting reading, nurturing creativity, and strengthening cross-border collaborations in Europe. The experience and networks built over the past two years will continue to guide future initiatives in the field of cultural and educational exchange.
Together, REEPLAI partners have shown that reading can be a bridge—connecting communities, sparking imagination, and inspiring lifelong learning across Europe.
