24 October 2025 – Within the framework of the REEPLAI project, the newly inaugurated Óbidos Reading Park has become a stage for young voices and new stories. Local children share what reading means to them — joy, imagination, and belonging — in a playful and heartfelt way.
This video is part of the “I Read Because” campaign, developed by REEPLAI partners to explore what reading brings into people’s lives. Through personal reflections and creative storytelling, the campaign celebrates the power of books to connect communities, foster inclusion, and inspire curiosity across generations.
To showcase Europe’s linguistic and cultural diversity, participants express themselves in their mother tongues, with subtitles provided for international dissemination.
