19 February 2025 – One year ago in Turin, we launched REEPLAI with the vision of bridging reading gaps, fostering cultural diversity, and strengthening communities through literature. Today, we look back on a year of progress, collaboration, and shared commitment to these goals.
Over the past year, REEPLAI has connected institutions, creative teams, and reading advocates to explore the role of literature in shaping inclusive societies. From public events like Folio to international forums such as Reading Connects, we have fostered dialogue, strengthened cooperation, and highlighted the power of reading to unite people.
We have also worked to develop new, innovative ways to engage readers, through interactive reading activities and playful learning approaches, soon to be featured in the new Reading Parks in the partner countries. By celebrating key cultural events like the Day of European Authors and World Book Day, we have reaffirmed our commitment to promoting literature worldwide.
This first year has demonstrated the impact of collective action and cultural exchange. A heartfelt thank you to our partners for their committment and dedication. We look forward to continuing this journey together.
